Beautification Committee · Meeting of March 11, 2026

Halifax Beautification Committee greenlights spring cleanup and garden initiatives. Chair Shirley Graf will purchase 20 Mea gift cards to incentivize participation in the May 2-3 cleanup, distributing ten to the police, five to first volunteers, and five in a raffle. Secretary Tina Palmer will coordinate with Cape Cod Cafe and SLRHS for pizzas and student volunteers.

The committee is partnering with Ed Godbois, a new Holmes Public Library employee pursuing Master Gardener certification, to develop pollinator gardens at the Margaret Fitzgerald Memorial Garden site.
