Beautification Committee · Meeting of February 11, 2026

Halifax Beautification Committee approves 2025 Town Report and advances spring programming. Chair Shirley Graf secured gate access for a March 21 walk at Camp Ousamequin and confirmed refreshments for a March 11 talk by Brad Chase on diadromous fish and local passage improvements. The committee is preparing for a May 2-3 spring cleanup featuring six thousand nips collected over two years; Graf drafted a letter to the Police Chief and interim Health Agent on litter by-law enforcement to be discussed at the April meeting.

Adopt-an-Island volunteers from Stripe the Green and Kingsley Improvements continue work on maintenance and site surveys.
