Halifax Beautification Committee meets with police on litter enforcement. The committee explored installing surveillance cameras at high-littering sites including the state-owned boat landing and town beach, discussed whether businesses might sponsor cameras, and learned how the Board of Health addresses litter complaints against private businesses.
Spring cleanup planning included committee members assigning refreshment duties and the creation of an interactive website map to document litter cleanup efforts.
