Board approves $4.5 million in spending and Starbucks license

Halifax Board of Selectmen approves $4.5 million in payroll, school, and vendor spending. The board unanimously approved new warrants totaling $3.6 million and affirmed prior commitments of $901,109, led by Chair Thomas Pratt, Vice Chair William Smith, and Clerk Jonathan Selig. Additional approvals included a Common Victualler license for a new Starbucks location opening in February, the Lakeville Animal Shelter Agreement, expansion of Fieldstone Farms horse shows from eight to ten, and December ambulance abatements totaling $141,706.
