Halifax Board of Assessors approves 14 property tax exemptions, offers Wal-Mart settlement. The board unanimously approved 14 exemptions and rejected one in executive session while voting 2-1 to offer a settlement to Wal-Mart for appeal docket X310656. Dottie Lamoureux moved the settlement motion, seconded by Robert Mullen, with Holly J.

Merry abstaining. The board also approved January 27 minutes and discussed posting the Principal Assessor position.
