Conservation Commission approves septic repair, continues duplex projects over plan concerns

HALIFAX — Conservation Commission approves septic repair and pond permit, delays duplex reviews. The Halifax Conservation Commission unanimously approved a septic-system repair at 3 Holmes Street and a one-year aquatic-vegetation maintenance permit extension for Monponsett Pond. However, the Commission continued two Amanda's Way duplex projects to January 27 after discovering questions about which site plans were actually being presented for review.
Chair Edward Lane and abutters raised concerns that the plans on the table did not match plans previously approved through court proceedings. The Commission received updates on two complaint cases, both scheduled for hearings on January 27.
