HALIFAX — Conservation Commission approves three permits, continues two applications. Chair Edward Lane presided as the Commission unanimously approved notices of intent for septic system improvements at 553 Monponsett Street and 159 Walnut Street and a request for determination of applicability for tree removal at 98 Walnut Street. Two duplex projects at Amanda's Way were continued to February 24 pending Outback Engineering review.

The Commission authorized a Cease and Desist letter for 16 Old Summit Street following a Department of Environmental Protection complaint regarding soil and debris in the wetlands buffer zone.
