Conservation Commission reorganizes leadership slate

HALIFAX — The Halifax Conservation Commission unanimously elected three new officers in its spring reorganization. John Guiod became Chair, Paul Doucette Co-Chair, and Edward Haworth Secretary, with each position approved by all five members present. The Commission reviewed conditions at 16 Old Summit Street, where Conservation Agent Dan Levesque and member Edward Lane visited with Collins Engineering to evaluate cleanup and wetland restoration requirements.

Property issues at 1 Seventh Avenue involving erosion and a log retaining wall, raised by homeowner Jack Selvaggio, were tabled by the Commission.
