HALIFAX — Finance Committee launches fiscal year 2027 budget review. Committee Chair James Walters and members received updates from Town Accountant Lindsey Martinelli on departmental budget submissions being uploaded to OneDrive for committee examination. Walters requested clearer line-item breakdowns and that department transfer requests be made proactively before accounts run short.
Member Frank Johnston raised the potential for new tax revenue from recent condo development in town.
