HALIFAX — Holmes Library Trustees Vote to Re-open Restrooms After $8,305 in Repairs. The Board of Trustees voted unanimously on a motion by Vice Chair Erin Nagle, seconded by Trustee Susan Hill, to re-open the restrooms, with Saturday closures scheduled through November. The facilities had closed due to recurring clogging issues that cost $8,305 in repairs during the past fiscal year.
Director Dylan Benoit reported the maintenance challenges and proposed the Saturday closure schedule. The Trustees also tentatively set holiday closure hours pending confirmation from the Town Administrator: Christmas Eve 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and New Year's Eve 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
