HALIFAX — March 24, 2026 — Halifax Conservation Commission approves certificate of compliance for 85 Thompson Street in a three-minute session. The board voted 4-0 Tuesday to close out a longstanding Department of Environmental Protection order on the property, following a site inspection by Conservation Agent Dan Levesque, who noted the septic installation dated to 2007 and that "everything looked good to go." Chair Edward Lane suggested the certificate request was tied to a pending home sale. The commission also approved two WB Mason invoices totaling $59.92 for Levesque's name plate and business cards, and adopted minutes from its February 10 and March 10 meetings, each by a 4-0 vote. Member Edward Haworth was the sole absence. The board adjourned at 7:03 p.m.
