Highway Superintendent Steve Hayward flagged a stormwater budget shortfall of $44,000, a snow-and-ice deficit already running $97,000 over its $177,509 appropriation, and a capital request for a fully outfitted 2026 F-550 truck at $116,503. Solbo said his recommended budget will be delivered Thursday ahead of a joint Finance Committee and Board of Selectmen meeting March 9 in the Town Hall Great Hall, where a Proposition 2½ override is expected to be formally discussed.
