Halifax Posts Ten Deed Transfers in September, Most Awaiting Recorded Sale Prices
Halifax recorded 10 property transfers between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, but only three carry a sale price so far: $497, $625 and $700, for a median of $625. The remaining seven are awaiting price data, typical for recently filed deeds. The top recorded sale was 11 Baker St. at $700. Five of the 10 transfers involve matching family names moving between individuals and trusts, suggesting estate or trust planning activity rather than open-market sales. With most pricing data still outstanding, the available numbers are too limited to characterize market tone this period.
